This Capital Reserve fund was established in 1991and has proven to be highly successful in avoiding large cash outlays when purchasing apparatus. With funding in hand, the fire department has always been able to negotiate excellent terms with a very positive effect on keeping taxes low. With this year's allocation, we will be able to replace our current Rescue vehicle which cannot safely handle the needs of the department. There is no new impact on your taxes as this is level funded from 2008
